Transportation
The car is usually the best method of transportation in this part of Cambridge. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit system in Briardean is quite bad. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. Bicycling is challenging in Briardean because there is a considerable amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive. Walking is also not very feasible for residents in Briardean as running common errands is inconvenient by walking.
Services
There are no high schools and no primary schools in Briardean. In addition, families may find it difficult to access daycares on foot. With regards to food, it is very rarely possible for home buyers in Briardean to travel to the nearest supermarket by walking.
Character
Briardean is reasonably quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite loud, especially closer to Highway 401. Green spaces aren't well-distributed, making it occasionally hard to access them. Still, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighbourhoods.
