Transportation
Cars are a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. Accessing a parking spot is generally easy, and most houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in Lakeshore is not very convenient. The bike is a fairly poor means of transportation in Lakeshore as the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the terrain is not particularly flat. It is also inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Lakeshore as running daily errands is occasionally challenging.
Services
Shopping for one's groceries very often necessitates the use of a vehicle in this part of the city. Nonetheless, it is generally a rather short distance to the closest pharmacy, which can supply some basic food items. Regarding education, Lakeshore does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, parents may find it very difficult for their kids to get to daycares as a pedestrian.
Character
Lakeshore offers a fairly good selection of green spaces to enjoy. Parks are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy, which makes it easy to get to them. Lastly, as there are very few people out and about on the streets, this part of Hamilton is relatively quiet.
